• Sage thrives in full sun, needing at least 6–8 hours of sunlight daily.

• Plant sage in spring after the last frost, or in fall if the weather is mild. Space plants 18–24 inches apart to allow room for growth and airflow.

• Regularly trim sage to promote bushy growth and prevent it from becoming woody. Cut back flower stalks to encourage more leaf production.
